New Construction Radon Mitigation Systems

Radon Raiders has solutions for radon issues in Ohio, especially in central and northeast areas. We offer two types of systems for new homes: passive and active soil depressurization.

According to the EPA zone map, central Ohio and Northeast Ohio are in Zone 1, which means they have some of the highest radon levels in the country.

For new homes, we install radon-resistant features during construction to prevent radon buildup. Our passive systems don't use a fan and are installed easily. If radon levels are still high after construction, our passive systems can be adjusted to reduce them without much cost.

If needed, we also have active systems with a fan and performance indicator for more effective mitigation. After installation, we test again to make sure radon levels have decreased.
